Family Photography

It is such a privilege to be invited inside people’s homes and lives, and to capture those special moments between a parent and child that might otherwise pass by too quickly.

Depending on the ages of your children, I will turn your session into more than a photography shoot. It will become an adventure, and it will perfectly capture the essence of the love you all share.

In your family session, my aim is to capture the perfect yet fleeting magic within your family, as your children grow up. I ensure that your time with me is always relaxed, while filled with fun, conversation and laughter, so we can get those incredibly natural and candid shots of you together as a family.

By the end of the session I will have documented the perfect, honest, and real moments within your family. Moments in time, full of love, that will never be forgotten.

Memories such as these will last forever.

Family photography sessions with me are $800, and include the following:

• Help and guidance pre shoot when selecting the perfect location
• Unlimited Advice pre shoot when selecting outfits for your timeless and beautiful images
• A 1-2 hour photography session, which includes immediate family members
• Full editing and colour correction of images
• 40+ high resolution images available for digital download

A deposit of $200 is due at the time of your booking to secure your preferred date in my calendar.

Where will our family shoot take place?

Your family photos can be taken either at your home or at a location of your choice. I love discovering new locations if you have a particular place in mind. However if you are unsure of where you would like to have your session, I can also recommend a selection of beautiful locations around the Dandenong Ranges or the coastal region where I regularly work.

What should we wear in our family shoot?

Once you’re all booked in, I will send you my complete ‘outfit inspiration guide’. This will take you through the important ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ when it comes to picking the perfect outfits for your shoot. It will provide guidance and advice so you can avoid clashing or being overly ‘matchy-matchy’, and it will help you ensure your look is timeless and complementary on the day.

What happens if it rains on the day of our session?

Dark clouds and even light rain can make for an incredibly beautiful backdrop. They provide contrast and bring a heightened sense of emotion to your images, therefore most shoots are able to go ahead even with threatening weather. However, if it is pouring with rain, then we can either move the shoot to your home, or we can reschedule for a more convenient time when there is favourable weather.

How many people can we include in our family session?

The session cost includes your immediate family. There is a small additional cost if you want to include more family members. Also, depending on the amount of people who will be participating in the shoot, we may need to increase the time of your session to get the most out of it.

How do I book my session with you?

Get in touch with me via the contact page and we can schedule a date in for your session. Once your deposit has been paid and your contract has been filled out and returned back to me, your session will be confirmed and booked in.
